BALLOON SAFARIS.

The hot air balloon in Lake Nakuru, Lake Elementaita and Lake Naivasha operates daily depending on the weather conditions. The pick up from your camp, hotel or lodge is 5:00 - 5:30 a.m and the balloon takes off at sunrise (around 6.30 a.m.) with average flight duration being 1 hour and depending on the prevailing weather conditions the altitude may be close to the ground or up to 4000 M.S.L. You return to your camp, hotel or lodge by 9.30 a.m.

Breakfast.
After a safe landing and photo shooting session, you will be served a unique champagne bush breakfast in the in the Soysambu Conservancy.

Clothing.
We would advise you to bring a sweater or windproof jacket, as it may be a little cold before take off or at breakfast. Please be sure to bring a suitable bush hat which we recommend you wear both during the flight and at the open air breakfast. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended - please do not wear high heeled shoes.

Insurance and waiver of liability.
Hot air balloon safaris are entirely safe with very experienced pilots, the best and safest equipments maintained to the highest required standard. It is however, a condition that each passenger, on boarding one of the balloons, beware that Mbango Safaris, Balloon Safaris and agents are not liable of any liability that may arise from any incident that may occur during or after a balloon flight.

The Balloon operators reserve the right to cancel a flight for any reason whatsoever. If your flight is cancelled circumstances, a complete refund of any advance payment will be made right away. If the flight is cancelled at the launch site due to adverse weather conditions, a free game drive on the return journey is offered.

Photography.
You may bring whatever equipment you have including a video. Large camera cases may have to be taken in one of the chase vehicles.

Cancellations.
Due to the very limited space and the high demand for seats, cancellation charges will be levied for any bookings cancelled once it has been confirmed.

Price.
The current price is US $ 425 per person and it may change without notice. The price includes collection from all accommodation establishments, balloon flight, champagne breakfast and return game drive. It is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
