Caroline Gatune's upbringing fostered a special and dedicated interest in natural history. She divides her time between wildlife conservation and leading Mbango Safaris tours.

Caroline is one of the most skillful guides. Her knowledge of birds and wildlife and her great enthusiasm is apparent to all who travel with her.

She is active in widlife conservation particularly working with birds, giving conservation lectures and looking after orphaned elephants and rhinos at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust - Nairobi.

She has been affiliated with the Natural History Museum of Kenya as a field research assistant where she has been involved in waterfowl census, world bird watch and birds banding working in various research projects thus gaining a great understanding of the birdlife both at hand and in the wing.

A nature lover, licenced guide by Ministry of Tourism, bronze holder of Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association and a trained professional safari guide with great guiding experience, she speaks fluent Swahili, English and basics in Spanish.
