:: SAFARI ITINERARIES

On the basis of many years of experience, we have created some itineraries which work particularly well. However, we are able to amend the itineraries in order to 'tailor-make' your very own holiday. You can add in alternative accommodation, stay extra nights in a favourite place or follow the route in a different order to the one shown. Simply contact our expert and friendly reservations team to discuss your requirements on 020 211 24 33/4 or email
safaris@mbangosafaris.com and we will do our utmost to organise your personal holiday.

» Bargain Bird Watching Safari...

» Wildlife Safari...
A  wildlife safari in East Africa with Mbango Safaris means more than just seeing animlas. This is a chance to immerse yourself in a wild where the fascinating natural behaviour and interaction between species will hold you enthralled. Whether it's an Elephant cutting grass with it's toenails or a mother cheetah teaching her cubs to hunt, there is so much to discover and learn.

» Bargain Wildlife Safari...
East Africa is the pre-eminent home to wildlife. Think of a region with the largest land mammal (the African Elephant)..., the largest predators (Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs)... the now rare species of Rhinocerous (the Black Rhinocerous) and species like Giraffes that seem incomparable to anything else on earth.

» Photography Safari...
Our experienced selected guides who are sensitized to photographers requirements and especially our equipped 4WD safari vehicles are foundamental to the success of your photography.

» Migration Safari...
The words 'spectacular, awesome, unforgetable' and 'the greatest wildlife show on earth' are probably the most repeated descriptions of the annual Wildebeest Migration as it unfolds across East Africa's massive Serengeti / Maasai Mara eco-system.

» Mountain Gorilla Safari...
You come so close: observing them as they watch you... Their almost human movements, social behaviour and dignity make unique connection within each of us.

» Beach and ... Birds Safari, Bush Safari...
As you lay on our beaches with balmy breezes fresh off the sea, whispering palm fronds overhead and the shimmer of waves breaking on a reef in the distance, there's no mistaking where you are: This is the defination of paradise. Lay back, relax and let the rest of the world drift away.

» Balloon Safari...
Elephants, Buffaloes and plain games are among the animals you will see. The migration of wildebeests in Maasai Mara and Serengeti, the view of Kilimanjaro in Amboseli and the views of flamingos in Lake Nakuru is a sight that, viewed from a ballon, you will never forget - this is the ultimate safari experience.

» Mountain safari...
Trekkers can climb to the world's only equatorial snowlines - Mt. Kenya and Mt. Kilimanjaro. The climbing takes the you through some spectacular forests and alpine vegetation, affording stunning views of the sorrounding plains along the way.

» Walking Safari...
Get up close and personal with nature. Walking Safaris is the most exciting way to see East Africa's wildlife and birds. Nothing brings your senses to life more than tracking your quarry through the bush.

» Cultural Safari...
Travel to East Africa and experience this unique cultural mosaic as old as creation. Meet the Swahili sailors of the coast, visit the thorn-enclosed villages of the Maasai in the south and walk with the Samburu warriors in the northern wilderness.

» Sport Safari...
If you'd like to try running a marathon with a difference, come and try the Lewa Downs Marathon. The marathon helps to raise money for wildlife and the local communities. It is held in a private game sanctuary, and the race is often watched from the roadside by the locals, rhinos and other wild game that it aims to protect. Our other great road race, an off road 4WD rally through rough terrain to raise money for conservation.

» Camping Safari...
Camping is the best way of getting close to Africa and to visit the great national parks of East Africa. The magic of a camping safari is to find yourself relaxing by campfire, watching the sunset turn the sky to gold, as the distant roar of a lion brings the day to a perfect end.

» Incentive and Business Travel...
Imagine ending your day's meetings and discussions with a classic sundowner. Your group can gather for drinks around a campfire, as day gives way to night and the air rings with calls of the wild.

» Fly-in Safari...
The beauty of a fly-in safari is the freedom; to choose, to fly and to be free as soon as you arrive. We have selected the best scheduled flights or charter flights and best destinations tucked away from the mainstream 'touristy' areas in East Africa.

» Day trips & Excursions...
Whether you choose to visit the Natural History Museum, the Railway Museum, the Elephant Orphanage for a couple of hours or a day journey down through the spectacular Great Rift Valley to see the flamingos, we have it all.
