Day
1: Nairobi: Mbango Safaris airport representative
will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
and transfer you to Fairview Hotel for overnight.
Days
2 - 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve: You meet
your professional safari guide for a briefing
and drive for 5-6 hours to reach the Maasai Mara National
Reserve, descending the Great Rift escarpment just north
of Nairobi and crossing the flat valley floor before
we ascend to the Maasai Mara plateau.
Your base is
a comfortable tented safari camp in the upper Mara eco-system,
overlooking the Talek River. You
spend the next four full days following the herds, capturing
the drama as it unfolds throughout the day. Early
starts and evening drives back after full days roving
the plains with provisions on board to ensure uninterrupted
access to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth.

|
The
rhythm of the wilderness takes over: different habitats
and species are unveiled as you spend your days driving,
watching and capturing on film the drama as it unfolding.
The
key is flexibility: our guides know where to look, at
which time of day for specific behavioral patterns and
wildlife rituals. Five
overnights at Mara Intrepid Camp (FB).
Day
7: Depart. After breakfast you drive across
the savannah on a last excursion, stopping for a picnic
lunch at mid-day. You reach Nairobi mid-afternoon
with time to freshen up and prepare for the international
flight home. Day
room at Fairview Hotel.
Client
Comments: "We
believe Joseph is one of the best guides we have met. His
knowledge of Kenya, its flora and fauna was extensive and
he helped everyone to experience the migration. We greatly enjoyed seeing the
wildebeests crossing the Mara River and such a wide
variety of mammals and birds in Kenya and we intend in due course to travel
again with Mbango Safaris." J and J G, London.
