Words alone cannot evoke the sensory impact of the primordial force that drives over one million wildebeests and a quarter million zebras to move en-masse, through extraordinarily peril in search of grazing new fiels.

There is no start or finish to 'the migration' - it is an ongoing annual event - with the running herds and stalking predators roaming the plains throughout the year in search of suitable grazing and water, following the storms, foraging the rivers, ritually entwined in a cycle of birth and death.
