John Njenga has been working as a wildlife photographer safari guide in East Africa for many years during which time he specialised in helping keen photographers obtain better wildlife images.

John now works as a freelance safari guide and with his extensive knowledge of mammals, birds, flora and fauna of East Africa, his escorted wildlife and nature photographic safaris offer practical photographic advice whilst enjoying the tranquillity and beauty of the wilderness areas visited.

John's approach is very ‘hands on’ and he is quick and able to adapt his guiding to varying levels of participants. Being on safari with photographers, John is keen to ensure that individual’s photographic requirements are fulfilled including discussions on film, exposure, light intensity as well as photographic equipment, technique and composition.

A licenced guide by Ministry of Tourism, a trained professional safari guide, a member and bronze holder of Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association, he has intimate love for conservation having worked at Masai Mara Game Reserve for 3 years doing Black Rhinocerous monitoring.

With his knowledge, patience, unwavering enthusiasm and good sense of humour, every client will be guaranteed the best possible photographic opportunities and a memorable tour in East Africa
