Peter Kamau birding enthusiasm and fundamental knowledge in natural history was triggered by Nature Kenya nature walks leading to him acquiring a Diploma in Ornithology.

A licenced safari guide by Ministry of Tourism, a trained professional safari guide, a member and bronze holder of Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association, he speaks fluent mother tongue, Kiswahili, English and German.

Peter divides his time between doing safaris in East Africa and conservation work. He has intimate love for conservation having been involved in doing anti-poaching and de-snaring sweeps in Kenya's national parks, reserves and private sanctuaries.
