Enjoy exceptional game viewing in the Maasai Mara National Park on morning and afternoon game drives and bush walks. Relax in your romantic tent at Samburu National Reserve featuring magnificent views of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Spend four days at Kipungani Explorer – renowned as the world’s most romantic destination – and enjoy candlelit dinners on the white sand beach, delicious fresh seafood and a range of activities, including scuba diving, snorkeling and kayaking.

Days 1 & 2: Samburu Game Reserve.
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by Mbango Safaris representative for a transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Samburu National Reserve Airstrip.  Your flight departs at 0800 Hrs in the morning and 1300 Hrs in the afternoon.  A game en-route will bring you to camp.

Enjoy an early morning game-drive and breakfast before your scheduled flight to Samburu Airstrip.  A representative from Samburu Intrepid Camp will meet you for your road transfer of approximately half an hour to the lodge

Spend two nights at Samburu Intrepid’s Camp.  Accommodation is in a luxuriously furnished with safari style canvas bath, shower, hand basin and w.c.  Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.

Activities include morning and afternoon game drives. Additional activities may be booked directly at the camp, subject to extra cost and availability of vehicles.  Such activities include a visit to the Samburu Cultural village.  Massages are offered as well for those who need to relax after a day’s game-viewing at an extra cost.

Days 3, 4 & 5: Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Your host will transfer you to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Mara Explorer Airstrip.  A short game-drive transfer (5 minutes) will bring you to camp.

Spend three nights at Mara Explorer Camp.  Accommodation is in a luxury tented camp. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.

Activities include game-drives and ballon safari in the Reserve. The afternoon game-drives.  Maasai community visits and ballon safaris are available at an additional cost and may be booked with Mbango Safaris or booked directly at the camp, subject to availability of vehicles and space.

Alternatively: Spend three nights at Entim Camp.  Accommodation is in a lavish tent.  Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.

Activities include game-drives in Maasai Mara National Park. Day trips to Lake Victoria (Mfangano Island) are available at an additional cost and may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to availability.

Days 6, 7, 8 & 9: Kipungani Explorer - Lamu Island.
Enjoy an early morning breakfast.  Transfer to Mara Explorer airstrip for your scheduled flight to Wilson Airstrip. Upon arrival at 1215 hrs, you will connect onto your scheduled flight to Lamu Airstrip where you will be met by a representative from Kipungani Explorer for your road transfer to the lodge.

Spend four nights at Kipungani Explorer.  Accommodation is in a beach cottage on raised platforms, made of indigenous woven palm, palm fronds and fine basket weave.  Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities.

Activities include scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking, salt water fly-fishing and windsurfing.

Day 10: Lamu Airstrip.
Morning to be spent at leisure until your transfer to Lamu Airstrip. Upon arrival at Nairobi you will be met by Mbango Safaris representative and be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight home.
