After
a warm welcome in Nairobi, capital of Kenya, you will be taken to
the gracious Ngong House in the tranquil tree-lined suburbs of Nairobi
for a good night's sleep. The following morning after an elegant
breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for you flight to
Kitich, an exclusive wilderness area. Spend two nights at Kitich
Camp in a luxurious ensuite safari tent in serene bush sorroundings.
Experience
a thrilling walking safari led by expert rangers and trackers. A
short drive will then take you to Samburu Game Reserve, an expansive
wilderness area boasting distinct and unique desert-adapted wildlife
including the Grevy's Zebra, Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Oryx
and beautiful sorroundings. You will spend two nights at Larsens
Luxury Camp overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River. Visit the nearby
Samburu villages to learn about the fascinating Samburu culture.
A four hours drive will then take you to Meru National Park, an
expansive wilderness area. You will spend two nights at Elsa's Kopje,
a gracious safari villa set on rocky outcrops overlooking the Meru
wilderness area. The day's excitiment will end with a romantic private
dinner under a blanket of stars. You will embark on another drive
to Olpejeta Conservancy staying at Sweetwaters Tented Camp lying
at the Equator, where you will spend two nights. Explore the private
conservancy by night game drive and visiting the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
After fullfilling days at Olpejeta Concervany you will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park,
where you will spend two nights at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Explore the lake in 4x4 safari
vehicles and witness its rich wildlife and birdlife. After 2 days
at Lake Nakuru you will to Masai Mara Game Reserve. The drive to
Masai Mara will bring you to
Narok, safari hub of Kenya enroute to Masai Mara Game Reserve, located
on the edge of Serengeti. Three nights will be spent at Kichwa Tembo
Camp, the epitome of luxury reflecting the ambience and romance
of Kenyan safaris in the 20's and 30's. Visit a Maasai village,
witness the game rich plains, and enjoy an early morning hot air
balloon safari followed by a sumtuous champagne breakfast.
You
will then drive to Tanzania to the impressive Serengeti National
Park, for three nights at Grumeti River Camp. Witness the game rich
plains on exciting game drives through this world-famous park. Witness
the ancient Olduvai Gorge, with a beautiful drive which will bring
you to Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact caldera. Two
nights will be spent at Ngorongoro Crater Camp, dramatically
perched on the Crater rim. Enjoy a full-day safari on the Crater
floor. You will then drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy two
nights at Tarangire Treetops - a stilted treehouse suite, nestled
deep in Baobab trees.
A morning drive will take you to Arusha,
safari hub of Tanzania followed by a morning flight which will bring
you to Rwanda. Four nights will be spent in a luxury ensuite safari
tented camp tracking the Gorillas of the famous "Midst in
the mist" - one of the world's greatest natural wonders. Witness
the sheer magnitude and beauty of Rwanda.
You will then fly to Nairobi,
capital of Kenya, and spend a night at the Norfolk, Nairobi's premier
hotel. This extraordinary East African adventure ends with five
days on the luxurious barefoot paradise of Zanzibar Island. Relax
and unwind in your private beachside villa at Fairmont Inn. Explore,
swim, snorkel, scuba dive or just laze on the beach. A perfect ending
to the Ultimate East African adventure.
Weather.
During
our tour we can expect most days to be dry and fairly sunny, temperatures
ranging from
20- 30oC, depending on
altitude. Overcast weather, particularly in the afternoons, may
not be infrequent, but rain is unlikely except on high ground such as Ngorongoro
Crater and in Rwanda
where
afternoon precipitation is a possibility. The weather can be chilly between
sunset and
sunrise in June and October.

Entry
requirements. Most
of Europe nationalities passport holders and most other
nationalities require a visa for Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar
and Rwanda which is obtained
in advance from the nearest embassy. You will also need
to have various vaccinations and take malaria prophylactic.
