 :: BEACH HOLIDAY

Beach and Birds Safari | Beach and Bush Safari | Magical Lamu and Manda Island

Explore Zanzibar - the Spice Island.
Holiday highlight:
- 4 days Zanzibar holiday.
- Eat Zanzibar specialities at the Dhow Restaurant - a magical Zanzibar experience.
- Sample the delicious ginger crab (in the shell) at the Pagoda Restaurant in Stone Town.
- Experience the local atmosphere and cousine by browsing the endless aisles of food stalls at the Forodhani Gardens.
- Take a spice tour to learn about Zanzibar's important spice industry.
- Browse the market in Zanzibar town and buy a Kikoi - traditional coloured wraps worn by locals.
- Meander through the labrinth of narrow streets in Stone Town and delight in the many ancient mosques.
- Stroll the lond streches of white sandy beaches with hermit crabs and sea turtles, and spoil yourself with a henna tattoo.
- Walk the nature trails of Jozani Forest Reserve, and catch a glimpse of the Kirk's red colobus monkey and suni antelope.

Rodent with history and sensory overload, Zanzibar is a melting pot of culture, trade and treachery. A slaving and trading port for centuries, ruled by the autocratic line of Sultans of Zanzibar, no history book on Africa is complete without reference to this significant island.
